Aghili-ye Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان عقيلي جنوبي) is in Aghili District of Gotvand County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Dasht-e Bozorg.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 7,690 in 1,513 households.[3] There were 8,120 inhabitants in 1,824 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,673 in 1,922 households. The largest of its 15 villages was Zolmabad, with 1,879 people.[2]
