Balouch, an experienced journalist and historian, authored numerous books delving into the rich history of Karachi. In addition to his literary contributions, he held a senior position within the Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) and served as a council member for the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP).[2][3]
