Andrii Mykolayovych Lysenko (Ukrainian: Андрій Миколайович Лисенко; born 4 November 1968) is a Ukrainian military journalist and Spokesman of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine.
Biography
Lysenko was born on 4 November 1968 in Donetsk. In 1992, he graduated from the Lviv Higher Military School, journalist, "Military Journalism"; Kyiv Military Humanitarian Institute (1996), "Journalism".
From November 1986 to December 2007 he served in the army. In 2004, he worked as an officer of the press center of the 6th Mechanized Brigade in Kut, Iraq.[1]
From January 2008 to April 2010, he served as an assistant consultant to the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
From April 2010 to May 2012, he was a special correspondent, political observer of the Directorate of TV and Radio Programs of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
From May 2012 to January 2014 - chief consultant, deputy head of the Main Department of the Press Service and Communications - head of the press service department of the Administration of the President of Ukraine.
From the summer of 2014 to the winter of 2017, he gave press briefings daily at 12:30 Kyiv time with reports on the events in the area where the ATO took place.
