The Anglican Diocese of Uyo[1] is one of ten within the Anglican Province of the Niger Delta, itself one of 14 provinces within the Church of Nigeria.[2] The current bishop is Prince Asukwo Antai.[3]
The first bishop of the diocese was Emmanuel Nglass[4] in 1990. Orama was consecrated a bishop on November 26, 2006, at the Cathedral Church of the Advent, Abuja.[5] Prince Asukwo Antai was elected on 9 August 2014.[6]
