Armigeres is a genus of mosquito belonging to the family Culicidae.[1] Certain species of Armigeres have the ability to raise their hindlegs and create an egg raft, in which they transport eggs and carefully deposit those eggs onto the water's surface.[2]
The species of this genus are found in Southeastern Asia and Northern Australia.[1]
