Aytuğ Batur Kömeç (Serbian: Ајтур Комеч; born 5 October 2004) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for the Süper Lig Beşiktaş.
Club career
Kömeç is a youth product of Galatasaray and Altınordu, before moving to the youth academy of Beşiktaş in 2017. On 20 May 2022, he signed his first professional contract with Beşiktaş.[1] He made his professional debut with Beşiktaş as a substitute in a 5–1 UEFA Europa Conference League loss to Club Brugge on 30 November 2023.[2]
International career
Born in Türkiye, Kömeç is of Serbian descent. In September 2023 he was called up by the Serbia U21s, but declined as he would have been considered a foreign player in his club.[3] He has played for the Türkiye U19s making 4 appearances.[4]
