Azita Sahebjam is the director of Vancouver Pars National Ballet. She also acted in the movie The Neighbor directed by Naghmeh Shirkhan.[1]

When two Iranian women on very different paths become across-the-hall neighbors in a northern Vancouver apartment building, their tentative friendship is one of convenience leavened by longing and regret. At the end of a plain hallway in a plain building in the northern section of Vancouver, middle-aged dancer Shirin (Azita Sahebjam) lives a life of solitude and melancholy.
