Backbone Connect is a London-based internet service provider. Its services include cyber security, cloud computing, connectivity, communication and voice, wide area networks, internet access and colocation services to businesses in the UK, Europe and North America. It also provides resilient digital infrastructure for commercial property assets and long-term IT support for tenants.[1]

The company was founded in 2008 by the founders and Managing Directors Mike Cullen and David McLeod. In September 2011, it became the UK Data Centre partner for US based Hexagrid.[2] Backbone Connect also achieved notability after becoming a European Level3 Communications Partner in 2010.[3]

The company operates its services out of several tier III data centres in the UK including Level3 datacentres in London, Global Switch 1 and 2 in the Docklands area of London and others in the UK.[4]
