Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (transl. Big Master and Little Master), shortened to BMCM, is an upcoming Hindi-language action-thriller film written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Ali Abbas Zafar and Himanshu Kishan Mehra under the banners of Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F.[4][5]
The film was announced on 8 February 2022. Principal photography commenced in January 2023, with filming taking place at various locations across Mumbai, Scotland, London, Luton, and Abu Dhabi, wrapping up by early May 2023. The soundtrack album is composed by Vishal Mishra, while Julius Packiam created the background score, Marcin Laskawiec is the cinematographer, and Craig MacRae and Parvez Shaikh are the Action Directors.
The film was originally scheduled to release on 22 December 2023 but faced delays. The film is now slated for a theatrical release on Eid 2024 in Hindi with dubbed versions of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

Production
Development
Bollywood Hungama reported about the movie in December 2021.[6] The project was supposed to be confirmed on 6 February 2022, but it was postponed due to the passing of singer Lata Mangeshkar.[4]
Casting
Prithviraj Sukumaran was finalised for the antagonist in the film.[7] Later Sonakshi Sinha and Manushi Chhillar joined the cast.[8][9][10][11] Alaya F also joined the team later.[12]
Filming
Principal photography began on 17 January 2023 at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai.[13] In the first schedule, An action scene was shot set in a Bunker featuring Kumar and Shroff. Film's dance number was also shot in this schedule. Filming then moved to Film City where some action scenes were shot. On 19 February 2023, Director Ali Abbas Zafar announced the first schedule wrap by sharing a picture from set where Kumar and Shroff can be seen riding horses.[14]
On 28 February 2023, second schedule began in the United Kingdom with the filming in Scotland, London and Luton. A major chunk of the film was shot in this schedule. Some high-octane action sequences were shot featuring cars, bikes, helicopters and tanks.[15] An action scene was shot at night in Paisley where a street was recreated as Shanghai.[16] Akshay Kumar also got injured while shooting a bike chase sequence.[17] UK schedule was wrapped on 12 April 2023.
On 16 April 2023, last schedule began in Abu Dhabi with the shooting of a dance number song at Emirates Palace featuring both Kumar and Shroff choreographed by Bosco-Caesar.[18] Action scenes featuring Cars, Bikes, Tanks, Horses, Dune Buggies, Plane, and Chinook helicopter were shot at Liwa Dessert.[19] Filming wrapped on 9 May 2023.[20]
Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Prithviraj Sukumaran will reunite on 15 January 2024 to shoot for 3 big songs composed by Vishal Mishra at international locations. Prithviraj is expected to be a part of the post-credit/promotional song, whereas Akshay & Tiger will be shooting for their respective tracks.[1]
Release
Originally scheduled for release on 22 December 2023,[21] the film was delayed and is now set to hit theaters on Eid 2024 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.[22][23][24]
The film's teaser is set to be released during the Republic Day weekend.[25]
