Basuka is a village in Ghazipur District of Uttar Pradesh, India.[1][2][3]The village is 28 km from Ghazipur district headquarter.[4] The nearest railway station to the village is Bhadaura (3km) and Karahia (3.5km).[4] The main occupations of people of the village is Agriculture.The main caste living there are Bhumihar (Brahmin), Brahaman, Yadav, Muslims and other backward and schedule caste.[1]
The main language spoken by people of village is Bhojpuri as well as Hindi.Most of the geographical land Belongs to Bhumihar families in which they do Agriculture practice[2][3][1]
Religion and culture
The majority of people in village follow Hindu religion and the minorities are following muslim religion.
The village has two temples in the east side of the village one of which is Budhwa shiv ji mandir which is said to be older than 100 years and peoples of village have great faith and belief making it of great religious importance in the village. Another one is Mahavir ji mandir which also has religious importance.[2][4]
Education
The village has 2 schools of which one is in the East of the village and other is on west(Shishu mandir)
that are runs under up board the village has and 1 Madarsa.
