Batán or Bataan[1] is a district of the Matina canton, in the Limón province of Costa Rica.[2][3]
History
Batán was created on 25 June 1969 by Ley 4345.[3]
Geography
Batán has an area of 213.69 km²[4] and an elevation of 15 metres.[2]
