"Battle of Koyulhisar" took place in 1461 between Aghgoyunlar and Ottoman Empire.
Before the battle
He came to Trabzon emperor's brother Uzun Hasan Bey, presented many gifts and expressed loyalty. Uzun Hasan Bey's nephew expressed his loyalty to the Trabzon empire and not to attack him, along with the ambassador. He sent it to Fateh Sultan Mehmed. Fateh Sultan Mehmed did not pay attention to this message. Uzun Hasan Bey, seeing this, sent an army and captured Malat and Goyluhisar castles. .[1]Ottoman Empire attacked to capture the castle but could not capture it.
Battle
When the Ottoman Empire came to Tarmukh for battle, Uzun Hasan Bey entered into a battle with his army. He sent some of his emirs to the Ottoman Empire side, and the army successfully looted and returned. but it was suddenly attacked by Ottoman army. However, the Turkmen soldiers fought bravely and defeated them [2] and Uzun Hasan Bey captured many of them. Uzun Hasan Bey released the captives.
After the battle
As an ambassador from Ottoman Empire, he asked for Trabzon's surroundings and fortresses. Ottoman Empire sent this letter to the emirs in Trabzon because of the respect he showed to the captives: ""That region (Trabzon) Uzun Hasan leave it to the lawyers in the region."[3]
