Bernard Hawkins (born May 18, 1963)[1] is an American politician.[2] He served as a Democratic member for the 53rd district of the Rhode Island House of Representatives.[3][4]
Born in Greenville, Rhode Island,[1] Hawkins attended Southern Connecticut State University.[1] In 2019, he won the election for the 53rd district of the Rhode Island House of Representatives.[3] Hawkins succeeded Thomas Winfield.[3] He assumed his office on January 1, 2019.[3] Hawkins decided to run for re-election in the 53rd district.[5]
