Reception
Critical response
Review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes gives Boudica: The Queen of War a 40% rating based on 15 reviews and an average of 4.4. One review by Bilge Ebiri of New York Magazine/Vulture; "It’s like a dimestore Braveheart: It might not have the sweep of those old-school period action films, but it’s still thrilling and passionate and filled with bloodcurdling, wall-to-wall violence."[2]
