The Brazilian Film Festival of London (BRAFFLondon) is a Brazilian-state-sponsored[1] film festival held annually in London since 2009.[2]. The festival is curated by Inffinito, an organization involved with the promotion and diffusion of Brazilian culture.[3] The festival is also held in other cities, including Miami (Brazilian Film Festival of Miami)[4][5], New York[6], Vancouver[7] and Canudos.[8][9]

BRAFFLondon

The festival involves premiere screenings of Brazilian films at venues across London. The second edition (in 2010) featured films showing at the BAFTA academy, Apollo Piccadilly and the Southbank Centre.

In addition, public talks took place between speakers from the Brazilian and UK film industries, including Fernando Meirelles.[10] The fifth edition took place in 2013.[11][12]
