Bunker Hill High School is a public, coeducational high school located in Claremont, North Carolina, United States.[2] It is part of the Catawba County Schools district. The school was built for $359,530 and dedicated April 1, 1955.[3]

Athletics

Bunker Hill is a part of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) and are classified as a 2A school. It is a member of the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A Conference.

Sports teams at Bunker Hill include baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track & field, volleyball and wrestling.

The school colors are cardinal red and black, and its team name are the Bears. Bunker Hill won a NCHSAA state championship in 1A/2A boys cross country in 1990.[4] Individual state championships have been won in indoor/outdoor track & field, cross country and wrestling.
