The Central District of Bavi County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان باوی) is in Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Mollasani.

After the National Census of 2006, Anaqcheh Rural District of the Central District and Bavi District were separated from Ahvaz County in the establishment of Bavi County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Mollasani as its capital.[3]

The census in 2011 counted 32,468 people in 7,452 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 33,802 inhabitants in 9,048 households.[2]
