Chaetosphaeria is a genus of fungi in the family Chaetosphaeriaceae.[1]

Réblová & Gams in 2016 then studied the type material of Acanthosphaeria (formerly a genus in the Trichosphaeriaceae family, Trichosphaeriales order) and then relegated this genus to a synonymy of genus Chaetosphaeria.[2]
