Cherry Hill Park was founded in 1945 by the Gurevich family, who initially purchased the land as a small dairy farm. Recognizing the increasing demand for recreational spaces in the area, the Gurevich family decided to convert the farm into a park. They named it "Cherry Hill Park" due to the numerous cherry trees that adorned the landscape.

In its early years, Cherry Hill Park primarily catered to local families seeking a convenient escape from the urban environment. Over time, the evolved into a full-fledged recreational destination.[2]

Recognition
