Colombia is scheduled to compete at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile from October 20 to November 5, 2023. This will be Colombia's 19th appearance at the Pan American Games, having competed at every Games since the inaugural edition in 1951.
Taekwondo athlete Miguel Trejos and boxer Yeni Arias were the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony.[1] Meanwhile, squash athlete Miguel Ángel Rodríguez and roller speed skater Fabriana Arias were the country's flagbearers during the closing ceremony.
Barranquilla was supposed to be host the 2027 Pan American Games and a Colombian segment was performed at the closing ceremony. However in January 2024, Barranquilla were stripped from hosting rights.
