Corat (Ҹорат, جورات; also Jorat and Dzhorat) is a town and municipality in Sumqayit, Azerbaijan.
It has a population of 13700.[2]
Etymology
The name of settlement comes from the name of the Mongolian tribe Joyrat.[3]
