Coup! is a 2023 American comedy/thriller written and directed by Austin Stark and Joseph Schuman and starring Peter Sarsgaard, Billy Magnussen, and Sarah Gadon. It premiered in the Giornate degli Autori section of the 80th Venice International Film Festival.[1] Sarsgaard and Magnussen serve as executive producers of the film.[2][3] It is Schuman’s feature directorial debut and Stark’s third feature as a director.[2]

Production
In November 2022, it was announced that Sarsgaard, Magnussen, Gadon, Marshall, Tahir, Nielsen and Stevens would appear in the film.[2]
In February 2023, it was announced that filming wrapped in New Jersey.[3]
