Cyrus Arnold (born January 2, 2003)[1] is an American actor. He is known for portraying Derek Zoolander Jr. in Zoolander 2 (2016). Other credits include Sam & Cat (2013–2014), Richie Rich (2015), The Exorcist (2017), Goldie & Bear (2018), Veronica Mars (2019), Runt (2020), Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2021), Transformers: EarthSpark (2022), and Mr. Harrigan's Phone (2022).

Early life

Arnold was born in Burbank, California,[2] the son of Lea Anne Wolfe and Blake Arnold. He has a younger brother. Arnold was just 8 years old when he had his first taste of acting.[2]

Career

In 2013, Arnold made his television debut as BJ Malloy in Sam & Cat (2013–2014).[3] He was a cast member in the Disney+ original Just Beyond, and played Josh Jagorski in the New Line Cinema/HBO Max Original 8-Bit Christmas.[4]

In 2016, he made his big screen debut as Derek Zoolander Jr. in Zoolander 2, alongside Ben Stiller.[5][6][7]

In 2017, he landed a recurring role as David "Truck" Johnson III in The Exorcist, alongside Brianne Howey.[4] He had a voice role in the animated series Goldie & Bear (2018),[2] and starred in the movie Runt (2020)[See Image].[4]

In 2021, his voice could be heard in the movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2021).[2][8] and in 2022, he secured a main voice role in the series Transformers: EarthSpark,[8] and portrayed Kenny Yankovitch in Mr. Harrigan's Phone.[3]
