Darul Ifta Jamia Nizamia (more formally known as Jami'ah Nizamiyyah) is an organisational body under the Madrasa Jamia Nizamia, that is responsible for the issuance of Fatwas. It was established with the college itself and was founded in 1876.[1]
Fatwas
- The Darul Ifta requested Muslims to refrain from cow slaughter to keep the sentiments of other communities in India.[2][3]
- The Darul Ifta issued fatwa that the song Manikya Malaraya Poovi from the film Oru Adar Love is not acceptable and it used wrong references.[4]
- The Darul Ifta issued a Fatwa that a women can herself separate her from the marriage.[5]
