Dipped in Black (Yankunytjatjara: Marungka Tjalatjunu) is an Australian docu-fiction film, directed by Matthew Thorne and Derik Lynch.[1] The film centres on Lynch, a queer Yankunytjatjara theatre artist, as he returns to his hometown of Aputula to perform an inma.[1]

The film had its world premiere at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival in February 2023,[2] where it won the Silver Bear for Best Short Film.[3] and the Teddy Award for best LGBTQ-themed short film.[4]

The film had its Australian premiere in June 2023 at the Sydney Film Festival.
