Doniyor Kayumov (Uzbek: Doniyor Qayumov, Дониёр Каюмов)—(born October 20, 1999, Toshkent, Uzbekistan), actor, blogger and singer.[1] He has been awarded several awards, including MTV Awards, Golden Ribbon and Best Actor of the Year awards.[2]

Doniyor Kayumov achieved great success in the field of acting. Doniyor Kayumov received wide recognition and appreciation in Uzbekistan after starring in the year 2009 Uzbek drama "Hayot" (melodrama). Since then, he has acted in many Uzbek melodrama films. In particular, the films "Omad", which were released on the big screens in 2010, and "Yordam" brought the actress great fame.[3][4]

Life and career

Daniyor Kayumov was born on October 20, 1999, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Starting in elementary school, he learned Karate until entering junior high school. After graduating from high school, Daniyor entered the Uzbek State College of Arts and Culture in Toshken, because he liked to be a photographer since childhood and dreamed of becoming an actor. He acted in several movies while in high school. In his youth, Daniyor was a member of Tantana youth group. He gave a concert in the concert hall of People's Friendship several times.[5]

Doniyor's career began when he was cast as a young reporter turned rock fan in Aziz Asqarov's Hayot. Doniyor says he was unaware of 2012 rock music before starting the music project.[6]

Doniyor plays an aspiring cartoonist in Yolgon in 2013.

His next film, Birinchi qadam (2014), was a satirical look at religious rights in high schools. Doniyor's character was originally a surfer but later turned into a skateboarder due to his skateboarding experience.

Daniyar starred in Uyanish mumosi and played the role of Murad in Magrur in 2015.

In 2016, Daniyor participated in Dadam bilmasin, another film by Jahongir Ahmodov.

In 2017, he joined the cast of the Cinemax television series Asir vabosi. He said he enjoyed playing a young father, but worried that not being a father in real life at the time might make him seem odd.[7]

In 2020, Daniyor starred in the movie 'Qadiryat', the sequel of 'Sevimli TV' series 'Ishq oʻyillari', however later that year she canceled her role in the TV series 'Xurlangan kelin'.[8][9]

Private life

Daniyor Kayumov married Rayona Kayumova in 2021.[10] Daniel and Rayona divorced in 2023.
