Doug Salati (born June 6, 1984) is an American author and illustrator of children's picture books.[1][2] His book Hot Dog was a winner of the 2023 Randolph Caldecott Medal. Besides Hot Dog, Salati has also authored several books.[3][4][5][6][7]
Personal
Salati was born in 1984 in New York. In 2014, he graduated from MFA Illustration as Visual Essay Program at the School of Visual Arts.[5][8]
