Easa Al Gurg is an Emirati businessman, entrepreneur and investor based in the United Arab Emirates. He is currently the Group CEO of Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group (ESAG) company. He is the grandson of Easa Saleh Al Gurg. Easa Saleh Al Gurg is known as the first Emirati banker and the face of Emirati diplomacy.[1][2] The Group has been in business for nearly 7 decades and is one of the oldest business family groups in UAE.[3][4][5][6][1]

ESAG has 27 companies currently under its portfolio, across sectors such as retail, building and construction, industrial and real estate.[7][8][1][9]

Biography

He joined ESAG in August 2010 as the General Manager of Scientechnic, group's flagship entity which is a turnkey engineering solutions provider. In May 2021 he was appointed as the Group CEO.[10][11]

Easa is also a Board Member of the Al Gurg Charity Foundation which was set up by royal decree in October 2010.[12][13][14]

Group

The Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group LLC (ESAG), was founded in 1960, by the late Easa Saleh Al Gurg, is a multidivisional conglomerate with over 27 companies. The Group businesses include retail, building and construction, industrial and joint ventures.[11][12][15]

The group is functional in United Arab Emirates and Oman; and across Asia, Middle East, African continent, parts of America, Australia and New Zealand.[4][16][17][10]

ESAG is a regional partner for 370 international brands. Its portfolio of brands includes Siemens, Osram, British American Tobacco, Dunlop, Armitage Shanks, Viking Johnson, SieMatic, Danfoss, Interface, Parador, Smeg, and 3M.[18][19]

The Group's joint ventures include AkzoNobel, Al Gurg Unilever, Siemens LLC, Siemens Healthineers, Al Gurg Fosroc and Al Gurg Smollan.[14][20][21]

Currently, Easa Al Gurg serves as the CEO and third-generation leader of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group.

In terms of sustainability initiatives, the group has made investments in eco-friendly infrastructure. They've collaborated on joint ventures with Siemens Industrial and Siemens Energy for sustainable investments.[2][22]
