Edenburn House, formerly 'Magh House' or 'Rockfield', is a house and demesne in the parish of Ballymacelligott, County Kerry, in Ireland.[1] Built in the late 18th century,[2] it is situated between Tralee and Castleisland.

Formerly the home of the Hussey family,[1] from 1937 to 1968, the house was used as to accommodate the religious order that ran the sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was constructed in front of Magh house. The Sanatorium took three years to build and was constructed in mass concrete from gravel extracted locally. Many thousands of people died within the walls of the sanatorium until a cure was found for TB in the 1950's. Later becoming known as Edenburn Hospital, from 1968 until its closure in 1988 the building was a convalescent home and hospital, catering mostly for orthopaedic patients and elderly patients. Since being abandoned in 1988 the hospital section has fallen into disrepair with parts of the mass concrete roof section collapsing. [3]
