Einsteinium(II) chloride is a binary inorganic chemical compound of einsteinium and chlorine with the chemical formula EsCl2.[1]
Synthesis
The compound can be prepared via a reaction of EsCl3 and H2.[2][3]
- 2EsCl3 + H2 → 2EsCl2 + HCl

The compound forms a solid.[2]
