In Greek mythology, Ekecheiria, Ekekheiria, or Ecechiria (/ɛsɪˈkri.ə/;[1] Ancient Greek: Ἐκεχειρία means 'armistice, truce') was the spirit and personification of truce, armistice, and cessation of hostilities. The term is also used to refer to the Olympic truce.
