Exotel is the emerging market's leading full stack customer engagement platform and business-focused virtual telecom operator.[1]
History
Exotel, founded in 2011 by Shivakumar Ganesan, Ishwar Sridharan, and Siddharth Ramesh, evolved from an in-house solution developed for Shivakumar's earlier venture, Roopit.[2] It secured initial funding of Rs. 25 million in March 2012.[3]
In February 2015, Exotel acquired social media startup Croak.it! in an effort to strengthen its line of products in voice.[4][5]
