Criticism
He was criticized and accused by former Prime Minister Imran Khan of being behind his Attempted assassination of Imran Khan in November 2022.In July 2022, he was promoted to the rank of Major General. In October 2022, Naseer was accused of torturing Pakistani politician Azam Swati in custody. Imran Khan urged Chief of Army Staff (Pakistan) General Qamar Javed Bajwa to remove him, saying that he's bringing "disrepute to the army, Pakistan and you".[8]
