Foo Go is a brand of pre-packed sandwiches and other convenience food.

Foo Go has a "zero waste" environment policy and has used water-based boards, inks, and coatings with packet windows made from 100% cornstarch instead of the normal oil-based inks and a plastic film,[2] to make the packet totally biodegradable.[3][4][5]

History

Foo Go was founded in 2001 by George Robinson. He used the idea of organic pre-packed sandwiches packed in biodegradable plastic containers. In 2009, Greencore Group plc bought Foo Go for £4.4M. Today, Foo Go has around 300-800 employees.
