Gökçebey (before 1954: Tefen Pazarı)[2] is a town in Zonguldak Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It is the seat of Gökçebey District.[3] Its population is 8,673 (2022).[1] It was a town within Devrek District until 1990,[4] and has been a municipality since 1972. The Ankara-Zonguldak railway passes through it. The mayor is Vedat Öztürk (İYİ).
