Głuszyna [ɡwuˈʂɨna] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Namysłów, within Namysłów County, Opole Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) north-east of Namysłów and 55 km (34 mi) north of the regional capital Opole.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word głuszec, which means "capercaillie".[2]
