Georgi-Rene Maksimovski (born 22 July 1966) is an Estonian spouse of the president. Since 2011, he is married to Kersti Kaljulaid who was the first female[1] President of the Republic of Estonia in 2016–2021.

Maksimovski was born into an Estonian Seto family, he is one of the two children of father Nektari[2] and mother Valve Maksimovski.[3] In 1984–1991, he studied at the Tallinn University of Technology. Maksimovski worked at the Estonian State Infocommunication Foundation in 1993–2009.[4]

Maksimovski reportedly began to date Kaljulaid in 2004. The first of the couple's two sons was born in 2005, and the second in 2009.[5] Maksimovski and Kaljulaid married in 2011. Little is known about his daily life, and some Estonian media have speculated that he could be member of an Estonian intelligence agency.[3][6]
