Georgia Tech Shenzhen (GTS) is a campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Shenzhen, China and is part of Georgia Tech's International Plan. GTS offers undergraduate and graduate programs in electrical and computer engineering,[1] as well as related fields.

Description

Georgia Tech-Shenzhen was established as Georgia Institute of Technology's second international campus in August, 2014.[2][3] The campus is co-operated by Tianjin University,[4] and is approximately 40 acres large.[3]

Georgia Tech Shenzhen is the result of a collaboration between Tianjin University and Georgia Tech.[4]

The campus is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), and mostly caters to graduate students pursuing degrees in Masters of Science.[4] The campus is operated mostly by the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech.
