Geraldine DeRuiter is an American author who runs the Everywhereist blog.[1]
Time magazine named Everywhereist one of their blogs of the year in 2011.[2] Her memoir, All Over the Place, was published in 2017.[3][4]
In 2019 Geraldine won the James Beard Foundation Award, in the category of Personal Essay Long Form,[5] for her post on the Everywhereist.com blog post titled "I Made the Pizza Cinnamon Rolls From Mario Batali's Sexual Misconduct Apology Letter"
