Graeme Sims (born 1937) is a dog trainer.[1][2] Sims developed a system of dog whispering in 1986. He is the only sheepdog handler to work up to nine dogs simultaneously under testing arena conditions.
From 1987 to 1997 Sims worked as a sheepdog demonstrator at The Big Sheep and The Milky Way theme parks in Devon. He managed The North Devon Sheepdog Breeding and Training Centre for five years. He has worked with large groups of Border Collies[3] in country fairs in Britain, in English and Italien.[4]
He conducts seminars in Italy where he teaches dog training using his system of dog whispering. His system aims to treat the dog as an intelligent partner rather than as a creature to be dominated.
