Haji Muhammad Mohsin Government High School formerly Rajshahi Government Madrasha, is one of the oldest institutions in Rajshahi.[1] It was founded by The Mohsin Endowment in 1874. During its establishment, this institution was established as a Madrasa. Later it was converted into a secondary school. Lastly, it was renamed in 2019.

History

In 1874, Rajshahi Madrasah was established by a grant from the Mohsin Fund. It was built on the model of Calcutta Madrasah (now Aliah University). The institute was later known as Rajshahi Government Madrasha. In 1959, it was upgraded into a college, and in 2019 renamed to Haji Muhammad Mohsin Government High School.[2]
