Hanan Azulay (Hebrew: חנן אזולאי; born March 23, 1958) is an Israeli former football player. As of late 2023 he works as head coach for Hapoel Bik'at HaYarden.
Personal life
Azulay was born in Jerusalem and he has 8 brothers & sisters. One of them is the former player Haim Azulay. Today he lives in Tomer.[1]
Career
Azulay started his career at Beitar Jerusalem playing as a Defender-Centre-Back.[1] In 1975 joined to the senior team. At his first season Beitar won the Israel State Cup in the first time of the club's history. Azulay won with the club 4 more times in the State Cup, and his first championship in 1986–87 season.[1]
Azulay has 396 appearances for Beitar, only Uri Malmilian has more appearances than him.[1]
