Reception

R. G. Vijayasarathy of Rediff.com wrote that "Hani Hani is a positive film that may go down well with the younger audience".[6] A critic from IANS wrote that "Hani Hani is an enjoyable fare despite some dragging sequences. And the music of course, rocks!"[4] On the contrary, a critic from Indiaglitz wrote that "Director Sharan working out strongly on the script has failed to give the speed for the film. This is a family film provided everyone has excess of time to watch".[7]
