Hesar Rural District (Persian: دهستان حصار) is in Khabushan District of Faruj County, North Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Hesar Andaf.[3]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 5,476 in 1,508 households.[4] There were 5,228 inhabitants in 1,654 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,957 in 1,623 households. The largest of its 17 villages was Yam, with 1,328 people.[2]
