Aminshahr (Persian: امینشهر; formerly, Hoseynabad (Persian: حسين آباد), also romanized as Ḩoseynābād and Husainābād; also known as Ḩoseynābād Amīn)[3] is a city in the Central District of Anar County, Kerman province, Iran.
At the 2006 census, its population was 4,044 in 989 households, when it was in the former Anar District of Rafsanjan County).[4] The following census in 2011 counted 4,555 people in 1,220 households,[5] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Anar County.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,413 people in 1,288 households.[2]
