Development
The game was announced in May 2004[4] and was showcased at E3 2004.[1][5] IHRA 2005 used the Gamebryo engine.[6]
Reception
TeamXbox gave the game a score of 5.2 out of 10, stating: "I can only recommend Pro Drag Racing 2005 as a rental to hardcore motorsports fans."[8]
