The IMOCA 60 Class yacht Initiative Coeur 4, FRA 109 was designed by Sam Manuard and launched on 30 July 2022[1] With the hull moulding done by Pauger Composites in Hungary under the guidance of Black Pepper Yachts.[2][3]
The boat was built using the hull moulds created for IMOCA 60 L'Occitane which were then used to create which was originally started speculatively and OceansLab.

The boat was commissioned by Black Pepper Yachts who predicted the likely future demand. The boat was sold early into its construction to Samanatha Davies and was launched as Initiative Coeur 4 on 20 July 2022. It used the sail number FRA 109.
