The Icelandic Film Centre (IFC) (Icelandic: Kvikmyndamiðstöð Íslands (KMÍ)) is a public institution that was established in 2001.[1][2][3][4] It provides grants from the Film Fund, and helps with the promotion of Icelandic Films abroad through, for example, showing at film festivals.[5]
The Centre runs the Icelandic Film Database (Icelandic: Kvikmyndavefurinn)) containing detailed information on Icelandic films and filmmakers, including stills, trailers and posters.[6]
