In Visible Light is a 2023 avant-garde performance film, produced and created by experimental director Gianmarco Donaggio. The work is a contemplative voyage within electrical current, embarking on a poetic journey that commences with its intricate interplay with the natural world and culminates in the sprawling urban dissemination of electricity.[1][2][3]

In Visible Light world premiered October 13, 2023 at the Mirage film festival in Oslo, it was shown twice in different formats.[4][5]

Description

The film-performance diverges from conventional narrative paradigms and modes of information delivery. It articulates meaning through a contemplation of electrical current, employing live editing and live generative visuals to weave together a visual tableau designed to evoke a sense of curiosity and reflection.[6]
