Izo Hashimoto (橋本 以蔵, Hashimoto Izō, born February 21, 1954) is a Japanese screenwriter and film director.[1]
Biography
In 1984, Hashimoto made his directorial debut with the independent film Pasokon Wars Isami, after which he began writing for television with the hit drama series Sukeban Deka.[2]
He co-wrote the screenplays for Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira and Shinji Aoyama's EM Embalming.[3][4]
